David Shepherd, NDP Critic for Health, made the following statement:

“Tyler Shandro’s approach to reopening remains chaotic for Alberta families and businesses. It is difficult for Albertans to have confidence in his decision to advance the parts of Phase 2 that he held back on March 1 without seeing the modelling and Dr. Hinshaw’s recommendations. He should release these documents immediately.

“Given the chaos and conflict within Jason Kenney’s caucus, Albertans deserve hard evidence that this decision was based on professional public health advice, and not internal political pressure from his rebel MLAs.”
