SECOND KENNEY CAMPAIGNER INVOLVED IN WHITE SUPREMACIST STORE
For immediate release
November 16, 2018
EDMONTON – Weeks ago, the UCP revoked the membership of former Kenney staffer Adam Strashok, after it was revealed he worked for a store that sells white supremacist goods. According to reports,[1] another former Kenney campaigner and UCP member, Keean Bexte, who worked in a Kenney leadership call centre,[2] admitted to working for the same store.
Bexte is well-known in UCP circles. In 2017, he endorsed Jason Kenney for leader of the United Conservative Party.[3]
Previously, Bexte worked closely as an intern with Devin Dreeshen in a Conservative MP’s office in Ottawa. He has also worked for Conservative MP Bob Benzen in his Calgary office.[4]
Jason Kenney must ask the UCP board to do the right thing and remove Keean Bexte from the UCP.
